Hullahalli is a historical village. Kapila river flows across the village. The name Hullahalli came from the Maharshi "Thruna", that's why the village is called as Hullahalli.It as another name called alalanathapura . The village is known for an ancient Varadaraja Temple, and Vishwaguru Veerabhadreshwaraswamy Sannidi or Trunapuri Shree Mahadeshwaraswamy Sannidi, located along south bank of Kapila River.
