Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar (born 11 June 1993) is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi television. She is known for playing Ragini Maheshwari in Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur (2015–16). In 2020, she participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.[2][3] In 2021, she appeared in the fifteenth season of Bigg Boss and emerged as the winner of the show. [5]

Early life

Prakash was born and raised in a Marathi speaking musical family. She is an engineer by education. She graduated in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Mumbai University.[3]

Career

Prakash began her acting career in 2012, with Life OK's 2012. In 2013, she played Dhara in Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki. From 2015 to 2016, she portrayed the lead role of Ragini Gadodia in Colors TV's Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur opposite Namish Taneja.[6][7]

In 2017, she played Diya Singh in Sony TV's Pehredaar Piya Ki opposite Affan Khan.[8] After Pehredaar Piya Ki ended, Prakash was re-cast as Diya Singh in Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya opposite Rohit Suchanti.[9][10] In 2018, she portrayed Uruvi in Star Plus's Karn Sangini opposite Aashim Gulati.[11]

In 2019, Prakash portrayed Mishti Khanna in Voot's Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka opposite Kunal Jaisingh.[12] In 2020, she participated in Colors TV's Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10.[13]

In 2021, she participated in Colors TV's Bigg Boss 15 and was announced as the winner of the show.
