Tawalai is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) from sub district headquarter and 50 kilometres (31 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 342 houses and a population of 1723 of which 824 are males while 899 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 12 people are from Schedule Caste and 1710 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
