Kavalith is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 52 kilometres (32 mi) from sub district headquarter and 55 kilometres (34 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]


Demography[edit]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 298 houses and a population of 1445 of which 719 are males while 726 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 25 people are from Schedule Caste and 533 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
