The school is run under the [[Ministry of Human Resource Development|Human Resource Development, Ministry of India (HRD)]], it is one of the most prominent and famous school in the area and also one of the oldest.
== History ==
The school was started as Central School in the year 1971 and has been one of the best schools in the area. The location of the school is very strategic and is near the [[Rifle Factory Ishapore]], that is one of the most famous and oldest Rifle Factories in India. It was made in the cantonment area guarded by the Indian Army called The Park. The location was so chosen that the children of the factory workers (the Metal Factory and the [[Rifle Factory Ishapore|Rifle Factory)]] could attend school without any problem. The Central Schools follow the same curriculum all over India and if the Parents had to transfer to a new location the children can move there hassle free.
