Dhruva Thare (transl. Pole star) is a 1985 Indian Kannada-language film directed by M. S. Rajashekar. The film stars Rajkumar, Geetha and Deepa.[1] The movie is famous for its evergreen songs composed by Upendra Kumar. Based on the novel Aparanji written by Vijay Sasanur,[2] the film was a major success at the box office upon its release.
