Velerupad is a village in Eluru district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Velerupad was a part of Khammam district of then newly formed Telangana until the transfer of 7 mandals including it to then newly formed Andhra Pradesh.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Eluru district started functioning from 2 April 2022. It has three revenue divisions: Eluru revenue division with 12 mandals, Nuzvid revenue division with 6 mandals and Jangareddygudem revenue division with 9 mandals.[2][3]
