She had accompanied her mother Sandhya, who played a supporting role in the film, to the studios and the producer Neerlahalli Thalikerappa and director Aroor Pattabhi were looking for a child artiste to play the deity [[Parvati]] in a school drama scene in the film, as the original girl who was supposed to dance could not come on the day of schedule.
