Navanagar is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 22 kilometres (14 mi) from sub district headquarter and 42 kilometres (26 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]
Demography
As of 2009, The village has a total number of 380 houses and a population of 2165 of which 1076 are males while 1089 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 34 people are from Schedule Caste and 1983 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
