Kahatul is a village in Shahade in Nandurbar district of Maharashtra State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from sub district headquarter and 47 kilometres (29 mi) from district headquarter. The village is administrated by Sarpanch an elected representative of the village as per Panchayati raj (India).[1]

As of 2009, The village has a total number of 867 houses and a population of 4004 of which 1991 are males while 2013 are females. According to the report published by Census India in 2011, out of the total population of the village 462 people are from Schedule Caste and 1175 are from Schedule Tribes Caste.[1]
