Zee Telugu is an Indian Telugu-language general entertainment pay television channel in India. It was launched in the year 2005 and owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises, as the part of Essel Group.[1] Zee Telugu is the 9th most watched channel across all genres with TRP of 1593 impressions during week 10 ratings in March 2021.[2]

It initially featured a large number of American films dubbed into Telugu. In August 2007, the network also dubbed famous Bollywood film Sholay from Hindi into Telugu as an experiment.[5]
