Babu is a 1971 Indian Tamil language film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar.[1] The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Sowcar Janaki and Vennira Aadai Nirmala. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan. Babu was released on 18 October 1971 alongside Neerum Neruppum and Veettukku Oru Pillai and failed to achieve the success of the original film.[3][11]
