Vrushika Mehta (born 18 February 1994)[1] is an Indian actress and professional dancer known for playing Sharon Rai Prakash in Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance and Puchki/Devika Ghosh in Zee TV's Yeh Teri Galiyan.

Early life[edit]

Mehta was born in Ahmedabad, India and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[2] She completed her graduation from Tolani College of Commerce.[3]

Career[edit]

Mehta made her television debut with Channel V's Dil Dosti Dance as Sharon Rai Prakash opposite Shantanu Maheshwari.[4]

Next, she appeared in Yeh Hai Aashiqui.[5] In 2015, she was a part of episodics like Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Zee TV's Fear Files.[6]

In 2015, she played Amrita Prasad in Twist Wala Love opposite Rohan Gandotra.[7] Next, she played Kaira in Satrangi Sasural opposite Ravish Desai.[8] In 2016, she hosted Desi Explorers Jordan on YouTube.[9]

In 2016, she played Ishana in Ishqbaaaz opposite Kunal Jaisingh.[10] Next, she made her digital debut as Tamanna in Viu's Truth or Tamanna. Since 2018, she has been portraying Asmita "Puchki" Kumari in Zee TV's Yeh Teri Galiyan opposite Avinash Mishra.[11]

From 30 November 2020 to 22 December 2020, she played Dr. Riddhima Saxena in StarPlus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opposite Mohsin Khan.[12]
