Zahid Beg is an Indian politician who served as a 16th Member of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh from Bhadohi from 2012 to 2017.[1][2][3] His father Yusuf Beg was elected as a 9th Member of parliament from the Mirzapur (Lokh sabha constituency) and was Indian labour leader served as the Vice President, of Hind Mazdoor Kisan panchayat.[citation needed]

Political career[edit]

  • Zahid Beg was a member of the 16th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Since 2012-2017, he represented the Bhadohi constituency and is a member of the Samajwadi Party. Zahid Beg won the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections held in 2012 by defeating his close contestant Ravindra Nath Tripathi with a margin of 16,241 votes.
