Yarukkum Vetkam Illai (transl. No One Is Ashamed) is a 1975 Tamil language film, directed by Cho Ramaswamy. It stars Jayalalithaa in the lead role, opposite Srikanth, supported by Cho Ramaswamy, Manorama and Sivakumar. This film was based on the book by the same name and later a play written by Cho Ramaswamy.[1] It became a blockbuster on its release. The songs sung by Yesudas became popular. The lyrics of one of the song in the film praised the character played by Jayalalithaa as Puratchi Thalaivi, even before she entered into politics.

The music was composed by G. K. Venkatesh.[3] The title song by Yesudas questions "the double standards laid in society for men and women" and "Anaiyaatha Deepam" raises questions about "morality, religion and humanitarianism".[4]
