Vadivel Balaji (17 February 1975 – 10 September 2020) was an Indian Tamil television comedian and actor. He received the nickname Vadivel.[1] Balaji was born in Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

He was well known for his works in Yaaruda Mahesh (2013) and Kolamavu Kokila (2018).[2][3] He also took part as a contestant in the eighth season of the reality television show Jodi Number One.

Balaji died from a stroke on 10 September 2020 in Chennai at the age of 45.[4]
