Susovan Sonu Roy is an Indian Bengali dancer and actor who started his career as dancer. He is known for his role in several television shows Aakash Aath series Anandamoyee Maa, Korapakhi, Titli and many more.[1][2][3]

He grew up in Guwahati[5] and Kolkata and studied in Kolkata at Dum Dum Motijheel Rabindra Mahavidyalaya College, which is part of West Bengal State University. After graduating in 2016, he performed as a dancer. Also performed in several live stage shows.[6][7]
As an actor, he had appearances in West Bengal TV series from 2019. He had his first appearance in the series Anandamoyee Maa by director Debidas Bhattacharya, which told a story from Bengali mythology. There he played a follower of Vishnu. The series was broadcast on the TV channel Aakash Aath.[8][9] In the soap opera Kora Pakhi, which has been running on Star Jalsha since 2020 and on Disney+ Hotstar, there he played a negative journalist character.[10][11] Next came appearances on the series Mohor, a series that has been running on Star Jalsha since 2019, as well as on Disney+ Hotstar. There he played a character of media person. Jamuna Dhaki, a romantic drama series that ran from 2020 to 2022, first on Zee Bangla, then on ZEE5, in which he played a neighbor.[12] Again in Titli which has been running on Star Jalsha since 2020 to 2021 and on Disney+ Hotstar, where he played a character of hotel person. This was followed by Khelaghor a drama series which has also been running on Star Jalsha since 2020 to 2022 and on Disney+ Hotstar, where he played a character negative college student.[13]
