U. N. Academy, Barpeta Road is a primary, upper primary, and secondary school located in Barpeta Road, India. It was established in 2002, and its management is private with no government funding.

It is a Bodo medium school and known for quality education. It scored its first ever top 10 result under SEBA in Bodo medium securing 96.67% in the Board Exam in 2017.[1]

Exams[edit | edit source]

The school follows the syllabus of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) from class IX to X. The school holds exams four times per scholastic year. Two of the four exams are Unit Tests, in which the subject papers are marked out of a potential score of 50. The other two exams are the half-yearly and the annual exam with an achievable 100 marks for all subjects.[2]

School life[edit | edit source]

The school life of the school is unlike that of a normal high school as it offers an adult learning environment similar to a university. Students may refer to their teachers by their first name. Students are required to follow school dress code: either a uniform as sold by the school or school colors; blue, white, grey, black and green. Students are required to carry an identification card and are allowed to leave the school premises during their free periods. Student parking is available.
