Thulasidas

Thulasidas is an Indian film and serial director who works in the South Indian film industry, predominantly in Malayalam cinema.[1]

Early lifeEdit
Thulasidas studied at Venjaramoodu High School and Attingal Sree Narayana College. He married Shiny Thulasidas September 13, 1995. The couple have two children, Surya TS Nair and Anushka T S Nair.
CareerEdit
Thulasidas started his film career as assistant director and associate director to P.K Joseph.
In 1989 he debuted as an independent director with Onninu Purakea Mattonnu (1989), which starred Thilakan, Ratheesh, Nedumudi venu and Rohini, produced by Sundarlal Nahatha. He contribution to Malayalam film industry includes box office hits such as Kasargod Khader Bhai (1992) (Siddique, Sunitha, Jagadeesh, Suchithra), Ezhara Ponnana (1992), Malappuram Haji Mahanaya Joji (1994) (Mukesh, Siddique, Maathu), Kumkumacheppu (1996) (Manoj K Jayan, Sobhana), Kilukil Pambaram (1997) (Jayaram, Vani viswanath), Sooryaputhran (1998) (Jayaram, Divya Unni), Melevaryathe Malakhakkuttikal (2000), Dosth (2001) (Kunchacko Boban, Dileep, Kavya), Mr. Brahmachari (2003) (Mohanlal, Meena), and College Kumaran (2008) (Mohanlal, Vimala Raman). In 2016 Thulasidas teamed up with producer K Manikandan to make the world's first-ever movie without men, Girls (Malayalam) Thiraikku Varadha Kathai (English: Story never came on screen) in Tamil, a bilingual horror thriller which earned him ICL award for best director in 2017.
