K. A. Thulasi (born 1974) is an Indian politician from Kerala.[1] She is a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Kongad Assembly constituency which is reserved for Scheduled Tribe community in Palakkad district representing the Indian National Congress.[2][3]
Early life and education[edit | edit source]
Thulasi is from Palakkad district, Kerala. She is a postgraduate. She is the head of the Department of History at Nenmara NSS College. She is also the general secretary of KPCC. Her husband, VK Sreekandan, is an MP and a Congress leader.[4]
Career[edit | edit source]
Thulasi became an MLA for the first time winning the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly election from Kongad Assembly constituency representing the Indian National Congress. She polled 62,734 votes and defeated her nearest rival and advocate, K. Santhakumari of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), by a margin of 3,706 votes.[5][6][7]
