Template documentationThis template produces wikicode, which is not transcluded or substituted any further. This is equivalent to replacing the {{, | and }} tokens with {{((}}, {{!}} and {{))}} respectively, which may be tedious. It is meant to replace the <nowiki> tag, which cannot be used as an input to templates like {{Automarkup}}.
Usage
{{Make code|wikitext with {, | and } replaced with <, ! and > respectively}}
- Optional parameters
{(default value:<): String to be replaced with{.!(default value:!): String to be replaced with|.}(default value:>): String to be replaced with}.
Example
