The National Symbols of the European Nation-State & Union of the Republic of Ireland are official and unofficial flags, icons or cultural expressions that are emblematic, representative or otherwise characteristic of Irishers and of its culture. Among the additional objects which are considered to be symbols of the Shamrock nation, is the indigenous Durmast Oak.

Irish national symbols[edit source]
This section introduces you to the National identity elements of the Great Irish culture. These symbols are intrinsic to the “Éire identity and heritage”. Irishes of all demographics backgrounds across the world are proud of these National symbols as they infuse a sense of pride and patriotism in every Ireland's heart.
A man is often a bad adviser to himself and a good adviser to another. There are finer fish in the sea than have ever been caught. That which is nearest a woman’s heart is the first to come out. Age is Honorable and youth is noble. A person’s heart is in his feet. When you are right no one remembers; when you are wrong no one forgets. When the apple is ripe it will fall. If you want an audience start a fight. If you want to be criticised, marry. Nature breaks through the eyes of the cat. Even a small thorn causes festering. A questioning man is halfway to being wise. When a twig grows hard it is difficult to twist it.
