Sunny Viswanath (, malayāḷam (IAST: malayāḷam)
?) is an Indian composer and music producer. His works are notable for integrating eastern classical music with electronic music sounds, world music genres and traditional orchestral arrangements.[1]
Early life[edit]
He started learning music at the age of 4 and performing with amateur bands since the age of 7. By the age of 14, he was into the world of professional music. Sunny learned seven instruments of which Tabla[2] remains his favorite. He has performed with local and national bands worldwide. He was educated at Kendriya Vidyalaya Kozhikode.[3]

Sunny has composed music for 6 films. 1. Kshatriyan 2. Sthithi 3. Israa[4] for which he introduced for the first time international singers Anneli Rydahl from Sweden[5] and Australian singer Seraya. 4. Sambar Sambar movie[6] 5.Cochin Shadhi at Chennai 03[7][circular reference][8] 6.Vanmurai (Tamil Movie)[9][10]
He has also done music for three albums 1.Janmangalai[11] 2.malayali penne 3.Chinmaya Geethangal[12][13]
He worked with Serena Kern[14][15] (Uk) doing the musical arrangements for her songs Lullaby[16][17] and Better to have loved[18][19]
Apart from that Sunny has featured various International singers like Zenya Bashford[20] (US), Samantha Coe[21] (UK), Felicitas Geiger (Germany)[22] Jemimah G (Australia), Keren Port (Israel), Iselin B (Norway), Heidi Jarvis (US), Violet Won (China), Khalida Saud (Pak) and also Indian playback singers like Sunidhi Chauhan,[23] Shan[24] Vasundhara Das,[25] Sunita Rao, Jonita Gandhi[26] Neha Bhasin,[27] Srinivas, P Jayachandran, Suresh Wadkar, Chinmayi,[28][circular reference] Rahul Seth, Kavitha Paudwal, Padma Wadkar, Sagarika,[29] Sneha Pant,[30] Pia Sukanya,[31] Zublee Baruah,[32] Priyadarsini, Devan Ekambaram[33]], Divya Vijay,[34] Manjari Babu, Gayathri, Afsal, Ranjini Jose, Jyotsna, Delsy Ninan,[5] Geethiyaa Varman[35][36] Sainoj, Sunil Kumar, Ajith etc. He has also featured actors like Suresh Gopi filmography,[37][circular reference] Divya Palat and Lena. Sunny has associated with lyricists Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, Shibu Chakravarthy, Khanesh Punoor, Musicians, William Isac, Veena Ananthapadmanaban Master,[38] Flute Naveen Kumar[39] Ashwin Sivadas, Ramu Raj, Fazal Qureshi, etc.
Sunny worked with Magnasound for close to 6 years as an A&R and later as product manager. Also as a consultant A&R with Bayshore Records (2 years). During his tenure, he has been instrumental in being part of the A&R team producing more than 50 music albums.
As a journalist, he has written columns on Mathrubhumi for its Film publication Chithrabhumi for 5 years and also as a Bureau chief of Southern Side Magazine.[40]
As an event Manager and an artist co-ordinator, he has done many events[41] in India, US, UK, UAE, rest of Europe, Malaysia and Australia
Personal life[edit]
He is married to Priya Viswanath and is settled in Ayyanthole, Thrissur.
