Sujeeth Reddy is an Indian film director and screenwriter.[1][2] He made his directorial debut in Telugu Cinema with the romantic thriller Run Raja Run when he was 23 years old.[3] He won the SIIMA Award for Best Debut Director (Telugu) in 2015 for Run Raja Run. [4]

Sujeeth began making short films when he was 17. He completed a film course at the LV Prasad Film & TV Academy in Chennai and has made over 30 short films.[3][4] In an interview Sujeeth said that "I actually came into the film industry to work as an assistant director under Puri Jagannadh. But after meeting him, he suggested that I can start making films myself".
He got his first big chance with UV Creations to direct Run Raja Run (2014). The film starred Sharwanand and Seerat Kapoor and became a sleeper hit. After that success, Sujeeth worked on a story for actor Prabhas. He told the story to Prabhas while Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was being filmed. The project became Saaho (2019). It was filmed mainly in Telugu and Hindi, with some scenes re-shot in Tamil. The movie had a large ensemble cast from different film industries.
Unlike his first film, Saaho had a very large budget of ₹350 crores, making it, at the time, the second-most expensive film in Telugu cinema. The film opened to mixed-to-negative reviews but did reasonably well at the box office overall.
