-The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a global document ratified by the United Nations General Assembly, which establishes the rights and liberties of every individual. It was crafted by a UN committee led by Eleanor Roosevelt and was adopted as Resolution 217 during the General Assembly's third session on December 10, 1948, at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, France.
