-After Duryodhana with the help of his friend, Karna kidnapped Mayuri and they get married in Hastinapur, Dushasan wants marry Medha, Mayuri's cousin which eventually Medha decline but because of her cousin, Mayuri she agrees on a condition if Karna will marry Mayuri and her maid cum best friend, Supriya then she may marry Dushasan. To fulfill the condition Karna married Supriya and later, Dushasan married Medha. After some years later, Medha gives birth to Dushasana's two children named Drumasena and Bharata. Medha was a Yuvrani of Hastinapura, capital of the Kuru Kingdom. She is a good friend of Supriya, Karna's third wife.

 She had cordial relations with the wife of [[Vikarna]], Mridula. She used to never fight with anyone for small reasons. Her behaviour was extremely good with Mridula. Generally, Mayuri is not the sister of Mridula, but she used to care about Mridula as a elder one. As Mayuri had many siblings, she included Mridula as a so- called sister. Her adjustment with [[Karna]] was a complex, and Mayuri, wife of [[Duryodhana]] and Mridula, wife of [[Vikarna]] became his friends.
