->Rohan Ursal (My Grandfather was the youngest mayor of Pune at age of 27 and first for Indian National Congress. 1st Mayor was Late Shri Baburao Sanas, 2nd Late Shri Ganpatrao Nalawde both representing the Shetkari Kamgar Paksha and then 3rd was by Grandfather Late Shri Shankarrao Dashrathrao Ursal in the year 1952 elected from Sadashiv Peth constituency . He later on became the first President of Pune Zilla Parishad elected from Purandar taluka and hold the position for 10 consecutive years.) |
