He is the chairman of a number of foundation including Allama Fazlullah Foundation, Darul Hikma Education Foundation, Chittagong International School (CIS), Arabian International Madrasah and Emirates Welfare & Educational Complex Trust.

Nezamuddin is married to Rizia Sultana Chowdhury.
