Chandramukhi is mostly commonly mentioned as Charumati. [[Dushasana]] married five wives and one was a warrior princess named Nirjara. Nirjara is one of the warrior princesses and she was just like [[Chitrāngadā]]. But here, Chitrangada married [[Arjuna]], and Chandramukhi wanted to marry [[Arjuna]] but as per her father's wish, she married [[Dushasana]].
