She was abducted by Duryodhana with the help of his friend [[Karna]] and Karna and Bhanumati became best of friends and spent most of the time together. From [[Duryodhana]], she is the mother of a son, [[Laxman Kumara]], and daughter, [[Lakshmanaa]]. Mayuri is the daughter of King Vasantraja of Trilokapura, she was kidnapped by [[Duryodhana]] just like Bhanumati. She is also described as the mother of [[Laxman Kumara]] and Lakshmanaa.
