Diesel Loco Shed, Tughlakabad: Difference between revisions

It was established in the year 1970 with a planned holding of 80 locomotives and initial holding of 20 WDM-2 locomotives. It got ISO-9001:2000 certification from ISO certification body Florida, U.S.A through Quality Services International/Jaipur July, 2003, as per the required Quality Standards.<ref> {{cite web|title=History|url=https://www.irfca.org/faq/faq-shed.html}} </ref>. The shooting of the movie "The burning Train" was also done at this shed. Like all the other sheds DLS TKD has its own beautiful colour scheme of Diesel locomotives. The locomotives of this shed have "TKD" written in bold letters on loco's body.<ref> {{cite web|title=Liveries|url=https://www.irfca.org/faq/faq-livery.html}} </ref>
