V. K. Sasikala: Difference between revisions

In the early 1980s, through [[V. S. Chandralekha]], who was then the [[District Collector]] of [[South Arcot]], and a friend of [[M.Natarajan]], Sasikala gained acquaintance with Jayalalithaa, who was then the Propaganda Secretary of the [[AIADMK]]. In the 1996 election,AIADMK defeated ;The new Karunanidhi government filed several corruption cases against her and JJ.In June 20 1996,Sasikala Was arrested for some cases,she had to spend 1 year in jail.in 1997 she was realsed.In 1999,Jayalalithaa appeared in an episode of Rendezvous with Simi Garewal,She tells 'Sasikala Will My Second Mother'.In 2001,Jayalalithaa was disqualified from holding office and forced ,Sasikala Was Suggested [[O. Panneerselvam]] as Chief Minister.In 2006,Sasikala Become Aiadmk General Council Member.

27 August 1996, Jayalalitha Expelled his long time- associate Sasikala And quoted,'I and Sasikala no longer have any relationship I am most indebted to my friend for giving me spiritual prosperity and love during my difficult times.  But I feel that the party is more important than a few individuals as I am compelled to stay away from Sasikala and Sudhakaran completely from you if the party members change'.After 1997 July Sasikala Relesed She Said,“Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Karunanidhi and Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram acted to seek revenge on Sasikala.  He was retaliated against for the sole reason that Sasikala was close to me.  Sasikala was not the cause of the 1996 election defeat.  I had to break up with Sasikala, who had been with me during the ups and downs of my life, because of issues raised by my opponents within the party. ”On 19 December 2011, Jayalalithaa expelled Sasikala and 13 others including Sasikala's husband [[M. Natarajan]], [[T. T. V. Dhinakaran]], their relatives, and Jayalalithaa's foster son V. N.
