Personal Life
Nusrat's personal life has been a subject of speculation and of keen interest in the media in the recent years, mostly because of her romantic life and relationships post her marriage.

She has been in a relationship with businessman Nikhil Jain since 2018 and they had a grand marriage ceremony on 19 June 2019 in Turkey followed by a reception attended by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her actress friend and co- Member of Parliament Mimi Chakraborty, among other celebrities.

Nusrat later has claimed that the marriage was not legal, "Being on foreign land, as per Turkish Marriage Regulation, the ceremony is invalid. Moreover, since it was an interfaith marriage, it requires validation under Special Marriage Act in India, which did not happen". As per Nusrat, "it was nothing more than a live-in relationship". Nikhil Jain has stated that they lived together as husband and wife and introduced themselves as a married couple in the society. Nusrat and Nikhil have allegedly separated in November 2020, but they made it public in June 2021. The reason for their separation was rumoured to be Nusrat's "One (2017 film)" and "SOS Kolkata" films co-star Yash Dasgupta whom Nusrat was rumoured to be dating while shooting for SOS Kolkata. Around the same time in June 2021, Nusrat's pregnancy news broke out in public amid all the rumours and speculations of her pregnancy which have already been floating around. Reacting to her pregnancy news, Nikhil Jain declared publically that the child is not his and that he isn't the father of Nusrat's to-be-born child. Since then, speculations began that Yash Dasgupta whom reportedly Nusrat has been dating for a while, was thought to be the father of the child.

In August 2021, she gave birth to a boy, Yishaan J Dasgupta at a private hospital in Kolkata. The birth of Nusrat's child "Yishaan" was also confirmed by Yash Dasgupta on his Instagram story, which made everyone believe the rumour of Yash being the father of Nusrat's child, even stronger. After a few days, the birth certificate of Nusrat's son was made public by the media, in which the name of the father was seen as "Debashish Dasgupta", which is the birth name of Yash Dasgupta. This has put all the rumours and speculations to an end and confirmed that Yash is the father of the child.

Nusrat and Yash since then have made their relationship public. They are co-parenting their son Yishaan. Nusrat feels that her son is also having a "normal father and mother" like all other children, and that she is happy about it.
