Nambardaar: Difference between revisions

The term '''Nambardaar''' commonly used in [[North India|northern India]] and [[Pakistan]] for head of the village who is responsible for certifying land ownership records for governmental purposes. This system dates back to [[British India]]. He is also responsible for certifying birth and death.
