Chandrachur Singh was the Assistant Director in the film ''[[Awaargi]]'' (1990). He has won a [[Filmfare Award]] in 1996 for the movie ''[[Maachis]]'' (1996). He was the [[Playback Singer]] in the movie ''[[Silsila Hai Pyar Ka]]'' (1999) and ''Maruti Mera Dost'' (2009).

Chandrachur Singh has been married to Avantika Kumari. The couple has  a son. Chandrachur is a great cook and has an immense love for music. He has two brothers, Abhimanyu Singh and Aditya Singh.
