Sneha Dubey
Sneha Dubey is the Indian Foreign Service officer of the 2012 Batch and the first secretary at the United Nations. Sneha served as Under Secretary (T) Latin America and the Caribbean at the Ministry of External Affairs (India), Government of India from December 2013 to August 2014. She serves as Third Secretary at the Embassy of India, Madrid from August 2014 in New Delhi. Before that, she worked at the Ministry of External Affairs (India) as an Under Secretary.
Early life and educationEdit
Dubey was born in Goa, India where she completed her early education. Her father works at a multinational company, while her mother is a teacher. She completed her post-graduation in Geography and an M.Phil. from the School of International Studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru University and obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Fergusson College in Pune. She is the first of her family to join civil services, after clearing the Union Public Service Commission exam in her first attempt.[1][2][3]
