Siren is an upcoming Tamil-language thriller drama film written and directed by Antony Bhagyaraj in his directorial debut.[1] Sujatha Vijayakumar is producing the film under the banner Home Movie Makers, while Anusha Vijayakumar is co-producing the film. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The music and background score is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.[2]

In April 2021, Antony Bhagyaraj, who earlier co-wrote Viswasam (2019) was reported to make his directorial debut with the production banner Home Movie Makers and with Jayam Ravi in the lead role.[5] Later on, Keerthy Suresh was reported to play the lead female role as a cop, doing so previously in Saani Kaayidham (2022) and being alongside Ravi for the first time.[6][7] In August 2022, the makers officially announced doing a film together titled Siren.[8]

The principal photography commenced on 29 August 2022 with a schedule in Chennai.[9] After wrapping up the schedule in Chennai in November, they headed to Karaikudi for the second schedule.[10][11] In April 2023, Jayam and Anupama were shooting a song sequence in Karaikal and wrapped up the second schedule.[12]

The soundtrack is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, in his maiden collaboration with Antony and second with Jayam after Nimirndhu Nil.[13]
