Shubhapradha

Queen Shubhapradha or Shubhaprada was a queen regent of the Rashtrakuta Empire. She was married to King Dantidurga and the mother of Reva, the only daughter of Dantidurga.[lower-alpha 1]

Her name "Shubhapradha" was the another name for Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. Shubhapradha was the daughter of King Kumaradeva. Kumaradeva, then with a peace of love, married his daughter, Shubhapradha, to Dantidurga. It is said that with Dantidurga, she had a daughter who married the Pallava King Nandivarman II.

It is said that in some ancient stories, the marriage of Dantidurga is there in some of the stories. King Kumaradeva finds him for his daughter and marries her to him. Dantidurga loved her so much that he was not ready to marry another girl.
