Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Patna, otherwise known as the Jaipuria School Patna is a co-educational institution imparting Secondary education through English as the medium of instruction. In 2019 and 2020, the school was awarded the 2nd. best co-ed school in Bihar by Education World Magazine.[1][2] It is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)[3] and is managed by R. N. Dwivedi Foundation.

History[edit | edit source]

The school draws its name from Padmabhushan recipient,[4] Seth Mungtu Ram Jaipuria, a philanthropist and industrialist who played a dominant role in the industrialisation of the nation after independence. Jaipuria Group of Schools was founded by his son, Sharad Jaipuria in 1992.[5]

Organization[edit | edit source]

Sanjay Ranjan, is the Chairman of the school and Anupam Singh is the director. The management of the school comes under the purview of Jaipuria EduTech Foundation. It is run by R. N. Dwivedi Foundation, a Registered Trust. Jaipuria Group also runs Jaipuria Institute of Management. The current principal of the school is Poonam Kumari.[6]
