Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner
Sarder Patel Medical College is a government medical school in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. It was founded in 1959, is associated with RUHS (the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences), and offers instruction leading to the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree (recognized by MCI), as well as the MS/MD/DM degrees.[1]

HistoryEdit
It was the second medical college to open in Rajasthan when it was founded in 1959. The MCI authorized it, and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, a former Indian prime minister, inaugurated it.[2]

The Rajasthan government provides total funding for the college. 250 MBBS places and 63 post-graduate seats are available at the college. two places each in DM cardiology and MCh urology, and 18 in the diploma.

FacilitiesEdit
There are different residence halls for each type of student: two postgraduate students, one intern, four undergraduate boys, and four undergraduate girls. Every hostel has its own mess, and the college has a pool as well. There is also a cricket, tennis, and basketball court.[3]
