Sarankul is a small town under the district Nayagarh of Odisha. It is mainly famous for the Laddubaba Temple.This small and beautiful town is situated at the foot of the hill "Bhandar" and beside river "KUSUMI" at a far of 100 kilometer from the Capital "Bhubaneswar" of Odisha. New Jagannath Sadak starts from sarankul and joins western Odisha with Puri.

The famous festival of this holy place is Sivaratri which is celebrated to worship Ladubaba.

Sarakul college is the higher educational institution in sarankul . Coordinates: 20°03′N 85°05′E / 20.050°N 85.083°E / 20.050; 85.083

"SARASWATI SISHU VIDYA MANDIRA, SARANKUL"

is the best educational school of Sarankul.
