Santu Jouharmal Shahaney was an Indian civil servant. He was awarded Padma Shri in 1962, and Padma Bhushan in 1965, by the Government of India, in the Civil Service category.[1] He served as the first Indian Director General of the Indian Ordnance Factories.[2][3][4] He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of London.[4] He died at the age of 48.
