Sanjana Sanghi (born 2 September 1996)[1] is an Indian actress and model who works in Hindi-language films.[2]
Sanghi started her career as a child artist in the 2011 film Rockstar. Later, she appeared in supporting roles in the 2017 films Hindi Medium and Fukrey Returns.[3][4] Her first major role was opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Mukesh Chhabra's 2020 film, Dil Bechara.[5]Now in 2021 , she will be starred opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the film Om: The Battle Within which is produced by Zee Studios
Early life[edit]
Sanjana Sanghi was born on 2 September 1996 in Delhi, India to businessman Sandeep Sanghi and homemaker Shagun.[1][6] She has a brother, Sumer.[7][better source needed] She studied at Modern School in Delhi and then completed her graduation in Journalism and Mass communication from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi in 2017.[8][9]
Career[edit]
Sanghi made her acting debut in Imtiaz Ali's romantic drama film Rockstar in 2011. She was cast by Mukesh Chhabra after he saw her performing on stage at her school.[10] In 2017, she acted in Fukrey Returns and Hindi Medium.[11][12] In 2018, she was chosen as the female lead for Dil Bechara, starring alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in the adaptation of The Fault in Our Stars.[13]
Sanghi has also appeared in advertisements for companies like Tanishq, Cadbury, Aircel, Coca-Cola, Myntra and Dabur.[8] She also appeared in Guru Randhawa music video 'Mehendi Wale Haath', directed by Arvindr Khaira.[14]
In December 2020, Sanghi is signed to be featured in Kapil Verma's action drama Om: The Battle Within as Aditya Roy Kapur's love interest.[15]
