Sandrembi Pareng (English: Sandrembi Necklace) is a 2015 Manipuri film directed by Satyajit BK and produced by Sagolsem Tuleshwor.[1] It stars Roshan Pheiroijam and Jasmin Elangbam in the lead, with Pinky, Prem Sharma, Santosh, Tayenjam Mema, Guna, Jayenta, Kuber, Sanahanbi and Anjellina playing supporting roles. The story was written by L. Ranbir and screenplay by Satyajit BK.
The film was released at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT), Imphal on 25 March 2015.

Synopsis[edit]
The story of the film revolves around a Sandrembi necklace (five mohur of real gold) which is gifted by Mellei to his love interest Thaja, but soon, she neglects Mellei and marries another man from Bangalore, Manglem. The film ends with Manglem finding out that the Sandrembi necklace is a fake one.
Soundtrack[edit]
Jeetenkumar Naorem and Tony Aheibam composed the soundtrack for the film and Raju Mikoncha wrote the lyrics.
