It was established in 1970[1] under the aegis of the Franciscan Friars (Third Order Regular of St. Francis).</ref> Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of the school.The inspiring story of Masaan producer Manish Mundra| work=The First Post| date = 24 July 2015 | accessdate =24 July 2015}}</ref> and public services. The school produced two consecutive Jharkhand state toppers in the ICSE Annual Exams in 2016 and 2017.[2] Students perform very well in national competitive examinations : IIT-JEE,[3].
