Puthukkottayile Puthumanavalan (transl. New Groom of Puthukkotta) is a 1995 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film written and directed by Rafi Mecartin. It stars Jayaram, Prem Kumar, Annie, Innocent, Captain Raju and Rajan P. Dev. The music was composed by S. P. Venkatesh.[1][2]

Ganabhooshanam Girish (Jayaram) and Ganabhooshanam Satish (Prem Kumar) are Kadhaprasangam artists. Both are orphans. Geethu (Annie), Anitha (Vinduja Menon) and Sumathi (Praseetha Menon) are students living in a girls hostel near Girish and Satish's home. Anitha and Sumathi pranks Girish by sending a love letter to him with Geethu's name.
At this time, Pillai (Innocent) came to meet Geetu and tell her that they are looking for some stage artist for their upcoming temple festival programs at their village, Puthukotta. Many stage artist rejects their invitation to perform at Puthukotta because they think Puthukotta is a dangerous place due to ongoing conflict between two families, Madassery and Palathara. Anitha and Sumathi suggest to invite Girish and Satish for a Kadhaprasangam show. Both girls knew about the danger and wanted to trap Kadhaprasangam artists. Artists agree to perform at Puthukotta without knowing about the ongoing conflict.
The main plot revolves around how these two artists gets involved in the conflict between two families and what happens when Girish comes to know that Geethu's love letter was just a prank by Anitha and Sumathi.
