Prithvi Singh Mehta (1909–1996) was an Indian historian. He was the author of "Hamara Rajasthan" (1950),[1] the seminal historical reference on the history of the state of Rajasthan.
He was one of the founding members of the Bhartiya Itihas Parishad (Indian Historical Society).[2] The society was established in 1937 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad as the rector, and Sir Jadunath Sarkar as the editor-in-chief.
