Premalata Mohapatra (15 July 1950 – 1 May 2015) was an Indian politician. She was elected as a member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly from the Kamakhyanagar constituency in a by-election held on 8 February 1997 as an Indian National Congress candidate.[1][2][3]

She was the daughter of Krushna Chandra Samantray, was an Indian politician and social worker. She was married to Kailash Chandra Mohapatra.[4] Despite having an educational qualification of under matric, she dedicated herself to social service and public welfare.[5]
