Parbatta Subdistrict

Parbatta Subdistrict is a subdistrict in Khagaria district of the Indian state of Bihar. In India, a subdistrict is responsible for the administration and revenue collection of a particular area within the district. HistoryEdit

Parbatta Subdistrict was a part of Bhagalpur before 1874. In June 1874, Pargana Parbatta was transferred from Bhagalpur to Munger. Later on May 10, 1981, when Khagaria was separated from Munger, it became a part of Khagaria as a Subdistrict/CD Block.
