Narottam Puri (born 1946) is an Indian sports journalist and broadcaster.[1]
Puri graduated from Prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi ,and completed his master's degree in otorhinolaryngology(ENT) Delhi University. He was also a Lecturer (Asst. Prof.), Dept. of ENT, M.A. Medical College Association, LNJP GB Pant Hospital (1975 - 1981), Senior Consultant - Moolchand Hospital, Tirath Ram Hospital, Director and Head of Department ENT - Sant Parmanand Hospital, Director and Head of Department, Board Member - Max Healthcare, President - Medical Strategy and Quality - Fortis Healthcare. Presently, Dr. Puri is the Medical Advisor - Fortis Healthcare, Advisor (Health Services) - FICCI, Chairman - NABH Emeritus consultant (ENT) - Fortis Healthcare. among several other postings at various health facilities.
Puri is also a speaker on quality & safety, health insurance, medical tourism, medical strategy, & medical ethics. In 2013, he received FICCI's “Healthcare Personality of the Year” Award.[citation needed]
